Tub exteriors can be supplied in any solid color at NO UP-CHARGE. We match every paint color on the market from any paint supplier and offer sheen finishes in matte, eggshell, satin and high gloss.

Our inspiration for this beautiful French Bateau (Boat) style bathtub emanated from the original design by Rogeat and a few other European makers from around the 1880’s. Our version is wider and deeper and we produce this tub in two different sizes.

Unlike many French Bateau style tubs on the market today, ours is produced to offer ample space for two bathers and exceptional depth for deep soaking. This applies to both our 67” and 73” versions.

The French Bateau tub has a long bathing floor and ample width with exceptional depth to overflow.

This is our stunning 73” version in an Eggshell/Satin ‘Blue Danube’ color match from Benjamin Moore.. We use a high-grade automotive spray paint system for the exterior of our painted bathtubs. As a first step, we smooth the exterior cast iron surface of the bathtub. From there, we apply two coats of high grade epoxy primer that is then ready to accept four layers of automobile grade single stage paint. The final two coats are specifically prepared to achieve either a matte, satin or high gloss lacquer finish to match the client’s personal choice. As a final step, we wet sand and polish to produce a flawless exterior. The finish is both beautiful and simple to maintain.

This 73” version French Bateau is perfectly sized for larger, taller bathers and offers exceptional space for two bathers.
